Mr. Wilfred Ochieng is an Associate at Prof. Albert Mumma & Company Advocates. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Kenyatta University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the East Africa Law Society, and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association. He has published several articles on human rights, constitutionalism and public interest litigation. He also supervises clinicians in Strathmore University’s Entrepreneurship Law Clinic.

Mr. Ochieng deploys his exceptional ability in unpacking court judgments and decisions in supporting the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution work particularly in the Court of Appeal. His grasp of legal principles and the jurisprudence of the superior and appellate courts combined with excellent drafting skills enables him to prepare high quality and “on point” submissions for court. His areas of interest cover Constitutional Law, Judicial review of Administrative Action, Human Rights as well as international and regional law. Beyond his legal research and legal drafting skills, Mr. Ochieng is passionate about human rights and pro bono legal services
