Ms. Vyonna Bondi is an Associate at Prof. Albert Mumma & Company Advocates. She is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Cape Town and she also holds a Masters (LL.M.) in International Trade Law from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Mount Kenya University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public, the Climate Change Justice Committee of the Commonwealth Association of Lawyers and the Commonwealth Association of Legislative Counsel. Ms. Bondi is a legal and policy expert with a focus on Energy, Natural Resources, International Trade and Climate Change Law.

With a robust background in legal and policy research, she has driven the firm’s consultancy work at the county, national and regional levels. She provides high quality consultancy services to the firm’s multi-lateral, governmental, Non- Governmental Organisations and public benefit organisations clients. Ms. Bondi’s legislative drafting skills have contributed to the formulation of impactful policies, laws and regulations in Kenya’s energy and natural resources sectors. Her multi-faceted skill set also includes project management where she has successfully overseen complex legal assignments that require meticulous coordination and execution. Beyond her legislative drafting skills, she is also a published author with a deep passion for green policies and nature-based solutions.
