Charles Agwara

Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law and Practice from the University of Edinburgh.

Mr. Charles Agwara is a Senior Associate at Prof. Albert Mumma & Company Advocates. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial from the University of Edinburgh, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. Currently, he is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mr. Agwara leads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice. He is a litigator per excellence with remarkable legal advocacy skills and specializes in all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution.

Mr. Agwara has handled several high-profile cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. He is particularly highly regarded for his expertise in judicial review proceedings, constitutional petitions, employment and labour relations matters as well as public procurement appeals. He has gained a reputation for thorough and successful handling of briefs and has provided litigation and dispute resolution services to a broad range of the firms’ corporate and state corporation clients in a broad range of contentious and adversarial matters with a very high success rate.
